Reach Out and Read – Arizona’s pediatric healthcare providers generously volunteer to provide specialized coaching to parents on the importance of reading every day with their children. This evidence-based early childhood literacy program also distributes 200,000 age-appropriate books to 117,000 children ages 6 months through five years of age through 185 sites across the state. Help us prepare even more kids!
$6.10 funds a book and the coaching at a well-child visit while $61.00 funds all 10 visits from age 6 months through 5 years of age. Utilizing the organization’s relationships and buying power, we can invest your donations wisely and target the communities with great needs.
Reach Out and Read Arizona relies on donations from foundations, corporations, individuals and community groups. Your support, at any level, helps prepare young children to develop a love of learning.
