Doctor-Recommended Reading Campaign
Through the "Reading is Doctor-Recommended" Campaign, we will provide a list of highly recommended children's books from ROR's knowledgeable pediatricians directly to parents through their local bookstores. ROR and ABC encourage all children's booksellers to use the list to create a display of Doctor-Recommended Children's Books in their stores. Customers will also have the opportunity to learn more about the ROR program, and how they can help our Program Sites in their community. Thank you to all participating bookstores for helping in creating the next generation of readers!

Reach Out and Read (ROR) and The Association of Booksellers for Children (ABC) have joined together to launch a brand-new partnership to celebrate ROR's 20th Anniversary. The "Reading is Doctor-Recommended" Campaign, which will begin in March 2009, is intended to help educate parents about the importance of early literacy and help them to select the most appropriate books for their young children.copyright © 2010.
